The theme of the third album of these Scandinavians can be described as sum of the major tragedies of mankind’s history. Lyrics for “Tragedy Has Spoken” have been written by Pär Johansson (Satariel, Torchbearer, The Few Against Many) and band’s lead singer Christian Älvestam (also in Solution.45, Torchbearer), and address the diversity of tragedies. Some of which have taken the guise of accidents or natural disasters, while others were carried out with human hands and intent. Behind all this there is to find an imaginary architect, a fictive entity – something powerful, aware, far above the manmade concepts of good or evil: the nature of tragedy itself.

Musically MISERATION expand their view on forward-thinking, vicious Death Metal by integrating new instruments to the mix. There still is to find what caused the quality and sustainability of “Your Demons, Their Angels” (2008) and “The Mirroring Shadow” (2009), but in 2012 there is more than technical, intricate Death Metal with a good dose of melody. “Tragedy Has Spoken” was recorded using 8-string guitars, which gives the wall of distortion a certain distinctive flair. In addition MISERATION are incorporating folk instruments such as the Indian harp Esraj, the Persian hammered dulcimer Santur, sawblade, organ, mandolin and piano, as well as Mongolian throatsinging. Music and lyrics are globally and far beyond standard practice, so there is a lot to discover!

The cover artwork for “Tragedy Has Spoken” has been created by well-reputed artist Pär Olofsson (Immortal, Abysmal Dawn, Immolation, The Faceless).

German progressive rock/metal upcomers PIGEON TOE have revealed another track from their Lifeforce Records debut “The First Perception”, entitled “The Chase”. “The First Perception” is set to be released on April 24th in North America and a week later in Europe.

PIGEON TOE came to be as project of the two guitarists and brothers Marsn and Hanson besides FEAR MY THOUGHTS, BACKSLIDE, and MONGOUSE in 2008. But the line-up wasn’t completed until drummer Norman Lonhard (now TRIPTYKON), bassist Ben Krahl (FINAL KINGS), and Patrick Hagmann (ex- FEAR MY THOUGHTS) joined on 3rd guitar and synths. PIGEON TOE have been playing shows for two years now – including gigs with KARNIVOOL and a first tour along with LONG DISTANCE CALLING.

The song appears on NERVECELL’s latest album, “Psychogenocide”, which was released March 31, 2011 in the Middle East via Spellbind Records; April 29, 2011 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland; and on May 2, 2011 in the rest of Europe through Lifeforce Records.

Commented NERVECELL: “This particular song is special to the band as it will mark the first extreme metal track ever to include both Arabic lyrics mixed in with English lyrics, and who better else to have come on board and collaborate on this theme with us than the legendary Karl Sanders!

“The word ‘Shunq’ in Arabic has two meanings: to choke or to be hung by the neck. The song consists mainly of ideas and knowledge gathered from sources that speak about Lucifer and the demons that serve him. The song ‘Shunq (To The Despaired…King Of Darkness)’ speaks about the battle of us humans and these demons in reality, in the end Satan himself brought forth to justice.

Multi-national thrashers NIGHTRAGE will film a video for an as-yet-undisclosed song off their latest album, “Insidious”, on April 28 at the Eightball Club in Thessaloniki, Greece. Directing the clip will be Gabriel Psaltakis, who helmed the latest PSYCHO CHOKE video, “Get Down”.

NIGHTRAGE’s fifth album, “Insidious”, was released last September via Lifeforce Records. The album features guest appearances by Gus G. (OZZY OSBOURNE, FIREWIND), Tomas S. Englund (EVERGREY), Apollo Papathanasio (FIREWIND, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS), John K (BIOMECHANICAL) and the band’s former frontman Tomas Lindberg (also known for his work with AT THE GATES, THE CROWN and LOCK UP). Lindberg appeared on the band’s first two albums — 2003′s “Sweet Vengeance” and 2005′s “Descent Into Chaos” — before being replaced by Jimmie Strimell (now in DEAD BY APRIL), who sang on 2007′s “A New Disease Is Born”.

NIGHTRAGE will be playing a couple of shows in Greece next month followed by a small European tour run supporting DEMON HUNTER and label mates DEADLOCK.

As previously reported Anton has attained spectacular levels of success with his alter ego “Zedd” (fb.com/zedd) and is currently working with the biggest popstars of our time,while he is touring the entire world to bits and pieces. Jochen has enrolled in University to study philosophy and German studies in Jena, which makes him extremely happy, but also consumes massive amounts of his time.

For these reasons, unfortunately it has become impossible to continue Dioramic with Anton and Jochen.
