Biography:
Driven by artists as diverse as AT THE GATES, MASTODON, SOILWORK, ISIS and RADIOHEAD, FEAR MY THOUGHTS’ aggressive, melodic yet exploratory sonic strike takes on new meaning on their fourth full-length Hell Sweet Hell. In 2003, FEAR MY THOUGHTS left longtime label Let It Burn Records and signed an agreement with Lifeforce Records, home to such revered acts as TRIVIUM and HEAVEN SHALL BURN. At this stage, FEAR MY THOUGHTS capitalized on their impressive press by performing over 150 shows all over europe with such artists as THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAM, NAPALM DEATH, CALIBAN and SHAI HULUD. Even in the midst of breaking new ground with Lifeforce and extensive touring, they recorded what would be the preeminent European metal-infused hardcore album. The Great Collapse is to metallic hardcore what REFUSED’s Shape of Punk to Come is to traditional hardcore.
